The verses we covered about being blessed(happy) are below.

Psalms 37:4-5
Delight yourself also in the LORD,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.

 

Psalms 1:1
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

 

Jeremiah 27:7
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.

 

Psalms 84:5
Blessed [is] the man whose strength [is] in You,
Whose heart [is] set on pilgrimage.

 

Psalms 65:4
Blessed is the man You choose,
And cause to approach You,
That he may dwell in Your courts.
We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
Of Your holy temple.

 

Matt 5:7
Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

The word study I suggested for you guys is in the hebrew scriptures H835, and in the greek text G3107.  Just in case you’re unfamiliar with it, you can use a Strong’s concordance to do this study.  If you don’t have one handy, the website www.blb.org has a Strong’s concordance built in.
