Kev and I are preparing for a new teaching series.  The essence of the series is that we will gather a list of common objections to Christianity, and attempt to give reasonable responses.  We need some help from you guys.  What questions do you have?  What objections have you heard from co-workers, fellow students, professors and friends?  We’ll be gathering all the responses we get and attempt to answer them at the Friday night meetings.  This series will probably start after the new year, but we need to get started preping, so please respond as soon as possible.  You can either comment on this post or send a message to youngadults@reachthetriad.com.

We are planning to meet for laser tag on Novermber 22nd at the church.  We’ll take the church van(pending approval) down to Laser-X in Archdale.  At this point, we’re shooting for 7pm as a departure time from the church.  There is a group discount if we have more than 10 people.  Plan an scratching together about 15 bucks for 3 games.

The October fellowship has been changed. The Dixie Classic fair is going on next week, so we’re going to meet at Joe/Heather’s house before 6pm. To save on parking($7 per car) we can carpool from their house…

Yet another change,  starting Oct 1st, we’re moving the fellowship night to Wednesday night.

1st Wednesday of each month is Women’s coffee night.
2nd Wednesday of each month is Group fellowship night.
3rd Wednesday of each month is Men’s fellowship night.

Hey Guys,

We’re moving the Teaching/Worship night from Sunday night to Friday night starting the first week of November.  We do realized that this will be a difficult night for some people, but thought overall it would be a better night for this age group, and the open doors for Sunday evening appear to be closing.  We purposely announced a month in advance, so if you can’t make it and want to, you could have time to adjust your schedule.  This will also, give us access to the 180 fellowship and worship areas, so we’ll have a lot less noise and more room to move around.  More details to follow….

Due to the weather, we’re going to move the fellowship to Country Side Bowling in Kernersville.

The bowling alley is right off of main street behind Arbys.

Meet there sometime around 6:30-7:00 for some fellowship/food…

Hey Everyone,

I hope you all are having a great week!? Just a reminder that on Saturday, August 23rd, we will be venturing out to Greensboro for a night of  ice skating @ Christian skate night. Please be sure to eat before you come.Your skate rental/skating fee together will be $15, bring extra money in case you want to purchase something at the concession stands at the skating rink.
